CLOTHING AN EMPIRE—Every year, Shen Yun creates hundreds of gorgeous, hand-made garments spanning China’s dynasties, regions, and ethnic groups.
From the imperial dragon robes, cloud capes, warriors' armor and celestial maidens' long silky sleeves, from the traditional Han to the ethnic attire of the Manchurian, Tibetans, and Mongolians, each costume is hand-made with meticulous care. Hundreds of new pieces are recreated each season, and they are truly a sight to behold.
